This is the worst day I have had in a long time, and although I want to go off and cry all night and break things and drink myself to oblivion, that’s not what I’m going to do. I’m going to do my best, instead, stay calm and let my followers know about the situation.

Since it’s nothing but a scam, or perhaps a tool for those in higher economic classes, I am leaving WordPress. Anime Rants will end. I will find a website that’s free and doesn’t force me into buying new things I can’t afford. I now despise WordPress because of everything it’s put me through the past few weeks. I don’t recommend anyone giving a cent to WordPress ever again.

For those who like Anime Rants content, I will be starting a new blog somewhere free. Once I have decided on the right site and title, I will post one last article here showing the link to the new, non-wordpress blog. As for the content already on Anime Rants, it’s already partially corrupted due to accidental permanent deletion of all gif files and many image files across my entire blog. I will try to keep the writing up for a while, at least until I can copy it all down and can then delete it. I am not interested in giving any credence to the wordpress platform with my writing.

This is extremely painful for me, as I worked my ass off on this blog for three years. I hope some of my followers will migrate to the new blog once it’s ready. Thanks for reading.
