Hello and welcome to Anime Rants with 7Mono. 2025 was a difficult year for a lot of people, especially those suffering in the dumpster fire of the US under the rule of a pathetic authoritarian rapist. All I can do is hope we get some ground back this year and keep doing things like the No Kings Protest. I’m trying to look at the prospect of 2026 as hopefully as I can. It’s easier to do with anime than with reality. As far as anime is concerned, I’m genuinely optimistic about this new year.

I’ve only chosen three shows because I’m already far behind on Fall 2025 anime episode reviews. I will most likely be catching up well into January or even February. Looking at it that way, with the four carried over from Fall, I’ll be dealing with seven shows. That’s more than enough for me to write about in a season. In addition to writing about selected current anime, I will try to catch up on my series reviews from 2024 and earlier. I have a lot of shows still left to review. Anyway, here are my choices for Winter 2026.
