Anime Rants: What I’m Watching for Spring 2026

Greetings and thank you for stopping by Anime Rants. The world continues to burn and my country has become as fascist as 1940s Germany, but since I’m still safe and in many ways very priveleged, here I am still writing about anime. It’s mostly a comfort thing for myself, but I hope that I can also be encouraging and tell my readers not to give up. If you are safe, you might as well as enjoy the things you like and, where possible, use it to validate others who are also suffering.

The five shows I’ve chosen to watch for Spring 2026 are listed below. I didn’t have time to add notes, and I’m worried I won’t have the time or energy to do episode reviews for five different series. Nevertheless, I shall try my best. Besides the five on this list, there were a few others that I wanted to try, such as Witch Hat Atelier, Nippon Sangoku, and Liar Game. But five is already almost too many for me handle, so I’ll stick to these.

Note: Though it’s slow, I will also be working on series reviews that I have yet to cover from 2024 and 2025.
