The final episode of Orb: On the Movements of the Earth was full of interesting themes and topics for discussion. We’ll start with a recap of events.

There were several memorable moments in this installment. For me, the one that sticks out the most was when Nowak admitted he was the villain of the story.

Violence – and in particular, religious violence – has always been a significant factor in this story. In episode 21, we see violence come full circle with the treachery of Frei.

This episode hit me hard and left me feeling bitter and unsatisfied. Let’s talk about this episode and the fate it had it store for Jolenta.

As usual, there were many lines and ideas worth analyzing in this episode. One example is the theme of “convictions,” or firmly held beliefs.

In this 18th episode, there are several key points to mention – including Schmit’s idea of spirituality and romantic interpretation of nature.

There was a time skip, and the feel of the show has changed somewhat – but not in a bad way. Orb continues to fascinate me.
