Thoughts on Upcoming Summer 2019 Season

Suddenly, I realized I had no posts scheduled for today, due to Sarazanmai being over and nothing being put in its episode review spot. The 30 Day Anime Challenge is also over. I don’t want to break my streak of posting something every day, so I decided to let you guys know what I’m thinking for the the summer season.

(Thinking anime girl)

Tomorrow, I’ll have some episode reviews up for Fruits Basket and Bungou Stray Dogs. For the weekend and early next week, episode reviews of Fairy Gone will be posted and maybe a review for Demon Slayer first 12 episodes. By next week, I hope I’ll be able to do some first impression posts about summer 2019 anime. The weekly specials Random Rants, Thoughtful Thursdays, Anime Reviews, and Sunday Select 7 will continue.

For the summer, I plan to check out all these shows:

(Supposedly airing on Sundays)
Teasing Master Takagi-san season 2
Lord El-Melloi Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note
Nakanohito Genome

(Supposedly airing Mondays)
Kochouki: Young Nobunaga

(Supposedly airing Wednesdays)
Kanata no Astra

(Supposedly airing Fridays)
Dr. Stone

(Airing on Saturdays)
Fire Force

I will keep posting episode reviews of current anime to increase my following and have more chances to rant. But I haven’t decided which of these series to do episode reviews for yet. I plan to pick six or seven of them. Also, episode reviews for Carole and Tuesday will continue to be posted on Thursdays. At least, at that’s the plan. I hope I can do this, covering more than before. This is a lot of anime in one season for me. I’m wondering if I can really handle that much.

(Skeptical anime girl)

The ones I’m most excited about are Takagi-san, Dr. Stone, Lord El-Melloi Case Files, and Granbelm. I’m very eager to see Given, Nakanohito Genome, and Fire Force, but I’m approaching them with caution because I can see them potentially turning out in a way I really don’t like. Kanata no Astra, Bem, and Young Nobunaga are just ones that seem mildly interesting that I’m picking up in case they turn out being really enjoyable.

That’s the end of this anime rant. Thanks for reading! If you have time or interest for a comment, I’d love to know what you’re planning to watch this season, and how you feel about some of the ones mentioned here. Wishing you well! Ja ne!

(Happy anime girl)
