Anime Rants Thoughts Entering Spring

Greetings all! I’ve been away from the blog for a couple of weeks, and now that I’ve returned, there’s a lot of catching up to do. With regards to that and some related topics, I’ve written out some thoughts and updates.

Firstly, what am I doing to finish off Winter 2021? I have weeks 11 and 12 of episode reviews left to cover. In addition, there may be a post for week 13 of any episodes that are carrying over. This will all be covered in one or two upcoming posts. The anime series for Winter ’21 that I’ve been reviewing are Attack on Titan Final Season, Beastars second season, TenSura/Slime second season, Re:Zero second season part 2, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, Higurashi Gou, and The Promised Neverland 2nd Season.

Once those posts are finished, we move on to the currently airing season. So what am I doing for Spring 2021? Well, it was hard for me to cover 7 different anime series for Winter, and I have more “IRL” stuff coming up in the next few months, so I will only choose 3 or 4 anime series to write episodes reviews for this season. The three I’m definitely picking are Fruits Basket: The Final, Zombieland Saga: Revenge, and Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation. I will also continue watching Kumo Desuga, but I won’t be writing episode reviews for that one. I might pick up a few other series and try them out depending on what looks good to me.

As for what else I’ll try to start working on, I have in mind some series reviews for those Winter anime series. There are also a few other anime from Fall and Winter to review, such as Kaguya Sama Season 2 and Horimiya. Last of all, I plan to keep working on my normal anime rants such as Thoughtful Thursdays and Sunday Selects. I recently rewatched some of Terror in Resonance and all of Penguindrum, as well as selected parts of Revolutionary Girl Utena. I’m thinking of finally watching Banana Fish and Yuri on Ice, too. So I’ll most likely have some posts about some of these series. That’s it for today. Expect some episode reviews in the next few days. Thanks for reading!!
