Welcome to this week’s Sunday Select, looking at my top 7 favorite anime studios. Enjoy!
7. Shaft

My personal favorite series made by this studio are Magical Girl Madoka Magica, Arakawa Under the Bridge, and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Studio Shaft is known for producing the Monogatari series and Nisekoi.
6. Kyoto Animation

My personal favorite series by this studio are The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Nichijou (My Ordinary Life), and Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary). Top popular works of KyoAni include Clannad, Hyouka, Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, K-on, and Lucky Star.
5. Sunrise

My personal favorite works by Sunrise are Code Geass, Gintama, and Daily Lives of Highschool Boys. This studio is known for making Cowboy Bebop and InuYasha.
4. Studio Deen

Personally, my favorites works by Deen include Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Sakura Trick, and Junjou Romantica. This studio is known for animating KonoSuba, Fruits Basket (2001), Vampire Knight, and Ruroni Kenshin.
3. Production I.G.

My top three favorite works of Production I.G. are Psycho-Pass, Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, and Blood-C. The studio is known For: Haikyuu, Kuroko’s Basketball, and Kimi ni Todoke. (It’s perhaps most famous for its collaborations with other studios. Working with Wit Studio, Production I.G. helped make Attack on Titan, for example. They also collaborated with Gainax to make Neon Genesis Evangelion.)
2. Bones

My all-time favorite series by Bones are Ouran Highschool Host Club and Wolf’s Rain, and maybe Zetsuen no Tempest. The studio is known for anime classics like: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (and the original FMA), My Hero Academia, and Noragami.
1. Madhouse

Personal favorite works from my very favorite studio are too many to name, but to choose just three, I would pick Monster, Parasyte: The Maxim, and Death Note. Madhouse’s popular productions also include One Punch Man, Hunter x Hunter, Overlord, and Black Lagoon.
Note on Studio TROYCA

I wanted to include in this post my favorite new, up-and-coming studio. That would be Troyca. I have high hopes for it. My favorite series of theirs so far is Yagate Kimi ni Naru (Bloom Into You). Thi studio made Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files (airing this season), Re:Creators, and IDOLiSH7. In Collab with A-1 Pictures, TROYCA also made Aldnoah Zero.
As you may have noticed, movies and collaborative works aren’t included in the lists of my personal favorites or what the studios are known for. I left them out for simplicity’s sake. Anyway, thank you so much for reading. Have a happy, restful Sunday.
(Images and gifs were found by searching the internet, and I don’t own any of them.)
Those are some good choices. Madhouse, Production I. G., and Sunrise would be on my favorites list, too. Also, thanks for checking out some of my reviews today.

Sure thing, they were very good. I’m still a bit sick tho and foggy-headed, so I had trouble commenting on anything today.

That’s a solid selection of studios. Sometimes I poke fun at Studio Deen, for their visuals, but kidding aside they have released some good shows.
