Konnichiwa, dear readers. I just want to quickly mention a few things about Anime Rants. Firstly, expect a bit fewer posts in the coming months. For two or three months, I’ve been doing one post per day. But this isn’t really feasible for me long-term. I will skip some days. If it’s a hard week, I may skip Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday.

Now about content. I want to have room to be flexible, but in general, I’ll have Select Seven on Sundays, reviews or MBTI posts on Tuesdays, analysis or thoughtful posts on Thursdays, and posts about seiyuu on Saturdays. The other days will have episode reviews.

For the rest of the Summer 2020 season, I’ll continue my episode reviews for Re:Zero, Deca-Dence, The God of Highschool, and Fruits Basket. However, after this season, I won’t be writing regular individual episode reviews. Instead, I’ll do one weekly post with my brief thoughts on episodes of seasonal anime. This will begin in Fall 2020.

Speaking of Fall, there are several upcoming shows I have my eye on. So far, these are the five I am interested in. I will probably write about a few of them.

Of those five, I am of course anticipating Higurashi the most. I love the Higurashi franchise. There’s a chance this revamp will botch things, but I’m staying optimistic. I’m excited! Anyway, that’s it for my announcements and notes. Thanks for reading! 🙂
